DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS AN ATHLETE

I always played sports growing up - soccer, volleyball and rugby all through high school, and then I was recruited to play varsity rugby at York University where I captained my team. Once I finished school, I picked up Crossfit in 2015 where I instantly got hooked and started competing with a highlight qualifier going out to Miami to compete at Wodapalooza! As an athlete, I love anything that is built around power and short sprints. Give me a heavy barbell (squats, deadlifts or power cleans) and you’ve got my favourite kind of workout.

what can members expect in your class / coaching style

I love to laugh, have a good time and leave the gym energized and that’s how I hope people feel leaving my classes. I know everyone’s days look a little different and I want to make sure members get what they need that day, whether that’s support for just showing up on a tough day or pushing their limits past what they thought they could do.

THE GREATEST LESSON YOU'VE LEARNED IN THE FITNESS INDUSTRY.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to be patient and never compare yourself to others. Take it one step at a time and remember your goals take time. There is no magic pill: just eat to fuel your body, hard work and consistency!
